Happy Birthday to Korporatio!

Korporatio aims to create a new generation of cutting edge, truly global businesses, led by entrepreneurs who are citizens of the world. A new era in which everyone is empowered to incorporate, innovate and realise their dreams.

GENERAL

I would like to start this month’s recap a bit differently, as this February Korporatio has turned one year old. We have published a review of what happened in 2018, so there is no point of doing the same thing again. I would like to write down some thoughts of all of this adventure.

When we first created the company, there was not much available, just an approval from the Republic of Seychelles to operate. Nobody was in for full-time, we had just an opportunity to make it work. Fast-forward to one year later, and we have a team of dedicated individuals that wake up everyday and push to help people set up hassle-free business entities.

It is incredible to see how far we have came after only 12 months. We will get better as we grow further, but if 2019 continues in the same way as these first two months, you can all expect to see some incredible things coming out from it! 

 

DEVELOPMENT

It has been some intense pushing on the coding side. The work of the new version of Dashboard (Version 2.0) is going exactly as planned. Let’s be honest, how many blockchain companies can say that? Anyway, we are happy to announce that we will release our new version in March!  

This version will have a completely new design and a few new features. It will be available to all new clients. Previously, adding each new feature would require redeployment and change of smart contract address, now thanks to our new architecture, our new dashboard will be automatically updated with all fixes and new features. Each month we will release a new update until all features have been deployed.

New dashboard will also require improvements on the website. We have completed an execution plan in order to add a couple of pages on the site. As usual, thanks to the feedback, we will change the copy of the homepage, to make it as clear as possible showing what we do.

We have now officially entered the second year of Korporatio!

 

JURISDICTIONS

It has been quite a challenge to avoid talking about the new jurisdictions. However, we can’t ignore the fact that having only one jurisdiction is not enough to bring Smart Companies as a standard.

February has seen the opening of two different pilots in two different jurisdictions. We are now in the process of opening Smart Companies in both. This is also one of the reasons why we need to update the website.  We will create a new ‘order’ page on our site to allow our users to choose from all the countries you can incorporate a Smart Company in.

In this specific case, the best way to stay tuned is to join our Discord, otherwise check the website, as usual, at the end of each month.

We are doing very aggressive work on the jurisdictions side but if you have suggestions of countries we should try, ping us!

 

FINANCIALS

We have updated our Angel List profile, and published  information about our round. If you are awesome and want to support us, please make sure to follow us there!

Anyway, the reason behind this decision is to keep growing  the company brand. With new opportunities coming in front of us, it is time to prepare for the next round. We have touched base with a few players and will continue to do so in the coming months. If any of our readers is running a VC, our doors are always open!
