GENERAL
I’m currently at Google’s office in San Francisco looking at the Bay Bridge. In a few days I’m going to have one of the most important meetings for Korporatio’s future ever, and so, while I’m doing preparation, and chatting with the top players in the space, why not sit down and write the monthly recap.
SEPTEMBER IN DEVELOPMENT
September has been a month of improvements, bug fixing and increasing performance in general. With new partnerships coming onboard, and new jurisdictions we’re expanding to, it is vital that the code gets as solid as possible.
We can’t run the risk of having our website crashing or the front-end of Smart Companies not being responsive and functional in the best way possible. Coding optimization is important not only for the UX, but also for our finance as it helps to reduce waste, as well as increase security.
Let’s not forget that we are dealing with some very important information of our clients and breaches would create significant issues to our users.
While doing all of this, we also managed to optimize and automate a few small steps in the Smart Company deployment. It is on our roadmap to get to a fully-automated deployment system. Such a system is essential to ensure the scalability of our business, as it will allow us to generate inventory while we are sleeping. We should be able to achieve such results by the end of the year.
This month also gave us time to find the new blockchain developer, make some proper team building between all the tech people in the company and, define the following months of development.
By the way, if you haven’t tested our Demo yet, it’s right here.
SEPTEMBER IN JURISDICTIONS
If you have been following us you already know we are currently running a lot of pilots. Last month I mentioned how BVI gave us a huge step back and we had to start over. However, we still managed to get a new jurisdiction. I’m not going to share which one just yet, simply because we will have an entire article about it coming out mid-October. So stay tuned!
If you have been talking face-to-face with one of our team members in the company, you probably already know which one it will be. And yes – we are not a super secret organization that tries to keep things in the dark. We love being transparent because it is one of our key values, just like efficiency in our delivery.. Anyway, this will officially be our first Asian jurisdiction, and to all of you who live in this part of the world (75% of the world population by the way), we picked a country that you are going to love 🙂
With Asia, Africa and Americas covered, the only region missing now is Europe. With this, I’m quite sure you can see where our next focus will be.
SEPTEMBER IN MARKETING
This month marketing wasn’t the focus as in the previous months. In fact, we managed to get only one new mention, this time from Disruptor Daily about blockchain in retail.
Our Linkedin growth is quite stable and we should reach the target of 1,000 followers by the end of the year. Our Discord channel has seen a growth of 10% compared to the previous month, which to be honest, we were not expecting, so…cool!
SEPTEMBER IN PARTNERSHIPS
The main reason why marketing was not the core this month, is simply because we have two new partnerships to announce.
The first is with the team of Self-Key. On top of Civic and Blockpass, our users will now be able to use Self-Key for their KYC if they already have a wallet there. There are a lot of ideas on how to bring the partnership to a high level. For example, Self-Key offers a very strong marketplace and we believe our help there can benefit the entire community. The partnership has been signed and we are planning on setting everything live by the end of November.
The second partnership we managed to close this month is with Fvtura. Fvtura has been running a Smart Company for quite a few months already and their CEO Giannandrea is actually becoming a good friend I meet quite often for a coffee or breakfast in the morning. We have been chatting around the idea of doing something together for months now, and with summer going away and all, we thought it was the best moment to start thinking in a good way about it.
Fvtura is building an incubator for social-impact projects. The idea is to organise events around the APAC region in order to make people aware of entrepreneurship. Korporatio will also offer Smart Companies creation to all the Fvtura members at a discount price.
It is good to increase the ecosystem with new companies coming on our side. There are still a couple more we will be able to announce in the following months, but for this month, this is everything we have to share.
As usual, if you want to chat, join our Discord or send us an email at future@korporatio.com.
